Mithun Chakraborty has stayed away from the public eye for the past year due to ill-health. But he has fully recovered now and will be back on our screens soon
Mithun Chakraborty has beaten serious illness to return to India and the spotlight. The ‘80s superstar had flown to Los Angeles to recuperate after injuries sustained during shoots caused a major health scare in 2016.
The Disco Dancer star had even resigned from Rajya Sabha to focus on his health but here is good news.

Mithun is fit and fine now and he will soon return to work.
Mithun Chakroborty will be a pivotal part of the much-talked about new comedy show on Sony, tentatively titled Comedy Company. The show will see Mithun tickle the audiences funny bone with comedians like Krushna Abhishek, Ali Asgar, Sudesh Lahiri, Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosle .

This move means that the actor has fully recovered as TV shows have strenuous schedules.
A source close to the star, told SpotboyE.com: “He took the decision after much deliberation. TV means long schedules and no rest in between but he is ready to take it on as Mithunda is completely healthy now.”
Mithun is better known as for his moves on the dance floor but he has fabulous comic timing too.
The star showcased his comedic chops in films like Shaukeen and Agneepath (which won him a National Award).
Mithun Da's health scare began when he was shooting for the 2009 Imran Khan-Shruti Haasan starrer Luck, which required him to shoot some high-octane action sequences including one where he jumped off from a helicopter.
The injury soon turned into chronic pain. But as usual Mithun Chakraborty has beaten all odds to make a triumphant return.
